Mary Ellen Trainor (July 8, 1952 - May 20, 2015) was an American actress. She portrayed Los Angeles Police Department psychiatrist Stephanie Woods in the Lethal Weapon Series. She died on May 20, 2015 from complications of pancreatic cancer.

Trainor has appeared in The Goonies, Die Hard, Scrooged, Ghostbusters II, Back to the Future Part II, Death Becomes Her, Forrest Gump, Congo, Anywhere But Here, Moonlight Mile, Little Giants, and Freaky Friday.
